Brookmill's first Indonesian coffee is sweet, deep and full of honey and dark berry flavours. It hails from the mountainous island of Sumatra where the recent focus on high-quality coffee has produced some wonderfully distinctive offerings.
The Koerintji Honey is handpicked before having most of the cherry removed, leaving some of the sweet, sticky fruit clinging to the coffee. This imparts a sweetness and syrupy body to the final cup, resulting in tasting notes of honey, black tea and blackcurrant.
